Our Roots: The Heart and History of Vetology

Vetology was founded in 2017 to address the growing demand for faster, more efficient radiograph interpretation in veterinary clinics, emergency rooms, and specialty hospitals.

Innovations in Veterinary Radiology

Veterinarians and radiologists are confronted by increasing caseloads, leading to serious industry-wide challenges. High rates of burnout and the departure of experienced clinicians and radiologists are a challenge that impacts pet care.

The pressures of managing demand for veterinary services are taking a toll on veterinary professionals across the industry, making it clear that innovative solutions are urgently needed.

Recognizing these challenges, Vetology’s team of board-certified radiologists and technologists set out to develop a solution.

Vetology Was Born For This

We began with a comprehensive teleradiology platform – a RIS-lite effectively – designed to support practicing radiologists. As our foundation grew, so did our vision. We knew we could take diagnostic support even further.

This drive for innovation led to the creation of our AI Virtual Radiology Report. When implemented in tandem with our teleradiology service, this technology helps veterinarians deliver care faster without compromising quality.

At Vetology, we are committed to supporting both veterinarians and radiologists in their pursuit of exceptional patient care. Our AI tools are designed to complement and support a clinician’s medical expertise, integrate naturally into a traditional clinical workflow to save time, reduce the cognitive burden, and allow medical professionals to focus on what truly matters—their patients.

By continuously updating and enhancing our solutions in the relatively young field of artificial intelligence, we aim to elevate the standard of veterinary care, ensuring that every patient receives the best possible treatment.
